Building a home

We're not actually building a home per say, we're more or less looking to make our place feel more like a "home". You know with that warm, welcoming feeling. Our place right now feels somewhat like that but there's something missing. Think it's the lack of decor and of coordinating furniture. My first goal is to make a fabric wreath for different holidays and ocassions. I would also love to make a wall picture collage. Since we're moving soon the wall decor will have to wait until we move to our new place and get settled.

Speaking of moving, we went aparment hunting on monday afternoon and it was somewhat okay. A lot of the apartments we looked at were a little bit over our price range or were not what we were expecting. We found one that was great but sadly someone had already come to see it and was in the process of applying for it. I called the next day and they had already given the deposit so we lost it. Sad day. I'm going to go see one today so hopefully it's ok, if not, Tony (the boyfriend) will go on a search tomorrow and then hopefully we'll have a place by the end of the week.

We also went couch shopping on monday, which is a lot more fun than apartment hunting. We're looking to get a sectional so we can lay comfortably while watching tv. There's a few options but we're hoping for one that also turns into a bed. I know, picky.
