It's Friday!

somewhere in the world. Oh no wait, think that's only used to drink before 12. Anywho, I failed to post this yesterday because the boyfriend took the laptop, that's his (whatever!), to watch a soccer match and I couldn't finish my post.

Finally applied for an apartment after what seemed like a decade of looking. It wasn’t my first choice but the location is great. Not that it matters because the boyfriend wants to go look at another apartment. Men! And they say women are indecisive.

Trying to get into the spirit of fall but it’s getting too cold in the mornings for me. Not even wearing a sweater keeps me warm enough.  I think I need to buy a coat. Yes, that’s what I need to do ;)

Three

I love September because there are two special birthdays to celebrate and it’s Mexican Independence day on the 15^th. Any excuse to drink lots of corona and eat endless Mexican food is a plus on my calendar.

Four

September is “El Mes de Patria” or Patriotic month in Mexico because of Independence day. In honour of this date I’m going to start a Mexican Series. I will discuss various topics to do with Mexico hopefully educating others on our culture and distinguishing authenticity from stereotypes.

I really want to go shopping. Right now. But with this first and last month’s rent fandango and bills piling up it’s become impossible.
